Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are embracing life as a family of five following the birth of their third child, 

a daughter named Golden Raye, on January 12, 2025. 

While the couple is adjusting to their new addition, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback 

recently shared that they aren’t thinking about expanding their family just yet. 

During a press conference on January 14, Mahomes responded to questions about adding another baby in the future. 

“I’m good with three for right now,” he said, smiling at reporters. 

While he acknowledged that they might reconsider down the line, Mahomes made it clear that his goal was always to have three children. “My goal was always three. So we’ve had three. And we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on,” he added. 

The couple, already parents to son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 3, and daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, 5, are clearly enjoying their growing family. Mahomes reflected on how rewarding it has been to see his older children embrace their new roles as big siblings. “It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how our kids react to her,” he said. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that — it’s been a lot of fun.” 

For now, the focus is on adjusting to life with three kids, and Mahomes credited his wife Brittany for managing the transition smoothly. “Brittany’s doing everything,” he said, expressing his admiration and appreciation for his wife’s hard work. “So I’m just trying to be supportive.”

The couple’s new baby girl, Golden Raye Mahomes, made her debut in a heartwarming Instagram post shared by Patrick and Brittany. The photo showed the couple holding their daughter’s tiny feet above a wooden sign that proudly displayed her name. “•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨,” the caption read, marking the special moment as they introduced their third child to the world.

Brittany Mahomes, who co-owns the Kansas City Current, also expressed her excitement on social media, sharing the joyful news of Golden’s arrival. In the post, she included a series of black-and-white photos that captured the family’s happiness and love for their newest member.

While the Mahomes family is currently focused on bonding and enjoying their time together, the couple is also keeping busy with their respective careers. Brittany, a devoted mom and successful businesswoman, continues to support her husband’s football career while managing her own ventures, including her role with the Kansas City Current. Meanwhile, Patrick’s commitment to his team remains unwavering as he prepares for the Chiefs’ upcoming games, balancing his role as both an NFL star and a father of three.
