Angelina Jolie is reportedly convinced that her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, played a role in her being snubbed by the Academy Awards this year. 

Sources claim that Jolie believes Pitt has been working behind the scenes to isolate her from the industry and tarnish her reputation. 

Adding to the drama, the Maleficent actress allegedly thinks Pitt’s first wife, Jennifer Aniston, is also involved in a long-standing effort to damage her career.

Jolie’s Disappointment Over the Oscars Snub

Jolie, who delivered a critically acclaimed performance in Maria, was reportedly expecting to receive an Academy Award nomination. 

Insiders say she believed this role would mark her return to the top of Hollywood’s A-list. 

However, when the Oscar nominations were announced, she was left off the list entirely—something she allegedly finds suspicious.

“There was a ton of buzz about how her performance in Maria was a career-defining role,”. “And she was fully expecting to win the Oscar.”

The insider claimed that Jolie is convinced Pitt is behind her exclusion from the nominations.

“She’s sure that being totally passed over is Brad’s work,” the source continued. “Angie feels that Brad purposely tried to make her look like the bad guy in their breakup, and she’s convinced his smear campaign worked.”
